Food for Life Bronze Award
Pupils and staff at Henry Hinde Infant School are celebrating after achieving the Food for Life Bronze Award.
The initiative, which is run by the Soil Association, encourages schools to demonstrate the fantastic work that they are doing to provide healthy school meals, great lunchtimes and food education that has a positive impact on both pupils and the wider community.
As part of the award, Henry Hinde Infant School has been recognised for taking on a whole school approach, which is making a positive contribution to pupil health and wellbeing.
Fleur Edwards, Principal at Henry Hinde Infant School, said:
“At the heart of the Food for Life ethos is the principle that we should make good food the easy choice for everyone,
no matter who or where they are.
“We believe that a good food culture should be an important part of school life, and are delighted that we have gained our Bronze Award. Special thanks must go to Mrs Zaria Milsom, who has led on this programme for us.”
